Liability Waiver

Reading and acceptance. I have read and understood this document and accept it of my own free will.

Fitness. I declare that I am in suitable physical condition and health to practise boxing and intense exercise, that I am not aware of any medical condition that advises against it, and that I have told Evian Boxe about any relevant physical problem (injuries, illnesses or limitations). I will report any change immediately.

Awareness of risk. I understand that boxing and combat training involve physical contact and intense effort. I understand that even with technical supervision, suitable equipment and controlled contact, injuries may occur, such as bruises, sprains, muscle and joint injuries, trauma and, in rare cases, more serious injuries. I knowingly and voluntarily accept these risks.

Conduct. I will follow the coaches’ instructions, respect my training partners, use the protective equipment indicated, and stop and tell a coach immediately if I feel pain or unwell.

Assumption of responsibility. I take part at my own risk and am responsible for my decisions during the activity. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I waive any claim against Associação Evian Boxe, its officers, coaches and volunteers for injuries or damage resulting from the normal risks inherent to boxing and training, occurring without wilful misconduct or gross negligence on their part.

First aid and emergency. I authorise the first aid needed and the calling of emergency services (112) in case of an accident or illness.

Equipment. I will take care of any equipment lent to me and return it at the end of the class.

Personal data. My data, including the health information I provide, is processed under the Privacy Policy.
